Billing Transactions

The Billing Transactions page shows your credit card charges and payment history. Access it from Admin > Billing Transactions in your admin panel.

Shopify Users: This section is not available for Shopify store integrations. Transaction history appears in your Shopify Admin under Settings > Billing. See Shopify Billing for details.

Overview

This page displays all financial transactions on your account in a detailed table format. Each row represents a single charge or refund processed through your payment method.

Transactions Table

The main view displays all transactions in a table:

TotalAmount charged (shows subtotal + tax breakdown if tax applies)

Click any row to open the transaction detail dialog.

Mobile View

On smaller screens, the Date, Type, and Period columns are stacked into a single "Details" column for better readability.

Transaction Types

Transaction Statuses

Transaction Detail Dialog

Click any transaction to see full details:

Header Information

  • Status icon - Visual indicator (checkmark, clock, or X)
  • Type label - Subscription, Overage Credit, etc.
  • Invoice number - Unique transaction ID (e.g., "Invoice #123")
  • Creation date - When the transaction was generated

Billing Period

Shows the date range the transaction covers:

  • Subscriptions - Monthly or annual period
  • Overage - The period during which overage was incurred
  • Refunds - The period being refunded

Line Items

Itemized breakdown of charges:

Negative amounts (credits/refunds) are displayed in green.

Totals Section

  • Subtotal - Sum of all line items before tax
  • Tax - Applicable sales tax (shown only if > $0)
  • Total - Final amount charged

Status Footer

A highlighted bar showing:

  • Current status with icon
  • Payment date (if paid) - e.g., "Paid Jan 15, 2025"

Empty State

If no transactions exist yet:

"No transactions yet. Transactions will appear here after billing cycles."

This is normal for new accounts or accounts on the Free plan that haven't made any purchases.

When Transactions Are Created

Troubleshooting

Transaction Shows "Failed"

  • Check your payment method is valid
  • Verify sufficient funds/credit limit
  • Update payment method in Payment Methods page
  • Contact support if issue persists

Missing Transaction

  • Free plan doesn't generate transactions (no charges)
  • Transactions may take a few minutes to appear after payment
  • Refresh the page to see recent transactions

Incorrect Amount

  • Click the transaction to view line item breakdown
  • Check if prorated credits were applied
  • Contact support for billing disputes
