Account Info

The Account Info page displays your workspace details and contact information. Access it from Admin > Account Info in your admin panel.

Shopify Users: This section is not available for Shopify store integrations. Account and contact information is managed through your Shopify account settings. See Shopify Billing for details.

Overview

This page shows:

  • Your business name
  • Workspace name (subdomain)
  • Contact information (owner email, contact email, phone)

Business Name

The page header displays your business name with a Modify button that links to App Config where you can change it.

Workspace Name

Your workspace name is the unique identifier used in your chatbot URLs (e.g., https://xinfer.ai/t/yourworkspace).

Editing Workspace Name

Click the edit icon to modify your workspace name inline.

Validation Rules

Examples:

  • mycompany - Valid
  • company123 - Valid
  • 123company - Invalid (starts with number)
  • my-company - Invalid (contains hyphen)
  • MyCompany - Invalid (uppercase letters)

Important Warning

Changing your workspace name will break all existing integration URLs. This includes:

  • Embedded widget scripts
  • Direct chat links
  • API endpoints

After changing, you'll need to update all integrations with the new URLs from the Integration page.

Contact Information

Three contact fields are available, each requiring verification when changed:

Owner Email

The primary email address associated with the account owner. Used for important account notifications.

Contact Email

A general contact email for business communications. Can be different from the owner email.

Contact Phone

Phone number in international format (e.g., +1234567890). Used for SMS notifications if enabled.

Verification Process

All contact information changes require verification to ensure accuracy.

Step 1: Enter New Value

  1. Click the edit icon next to the field
  2. Enter the new email address or phone number
  3. Click Send Code

Step 2: Verify Code

  1. Check your email or phone for the 6-digit verification code
  2. Enter the code in the dialog
  3. Click Verify

Verification Options

How to Edit Information

Editing Business Name

  1. Click Modify in the header
  2. You'll be redirected to App Config
  3. Update the title field
  4. Save changes

Editing Workspace Name

  1. Click the edit icon next to Workspace Name
  2. Enter the new workspace name
  3. Click the checkmark to save
  4. You'll be redirected to the new URL

Editing Contact Information

  1. Click the edit icon next to the field
  2. Enter the new value in the dialog
  3. Click Send Code
  4. Enter the verification code
  5. Click Verify

Best Practices

Workspace Name

  • Choose a memorable, professional name
  • Keep it short and easy to type
  • Avoid changing it after sharing integration links

Contact Information

  • Keep owner email up to date for important notifications
  • Use a monitored contact email for business inquiries
  • Include country code for phone numbers

Troubleshooting

Verification Code Not Received

  • Check spam/junk folder for emails
  • Ensure phone number includes country code
  • Wait a few minutes and try Resend

Workspace Name Already Taken

  • Try adding numbers to make it unique
  • Choose a different variation of your business name

Can't Save Changes

  • Ensure all validation rules are met
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try refreshing the page
