Agent Voice

The Agent Voice page lets you choose the voice for your AI voice assistant. Access it from Admin > Agent Voice in your admin panel.

Overview

Your voice assistant's personality is shaped not just by prompts, but by the voice itself. A warm, friendly voice creates a different experience than a professional, authoritative one. Choose a voice that matches your brand.

There are two types of voices available:

  • Multilingual voices — Auto-detect and respond in 20 languages
  • English voices — Expressive, emotion-aware English voices

Selecting a voice automatically applies the right configuration. No additional setup needed.

How to Change Your Voice

  1. Use the tag filters to narrow down voices by characteristic
  2. Click Play Sample to hear each voice
  3. Click a voice card to select it
  4. Click Save Changes to apply

Changes take effect immediately for new voice conversations.

Tag Filters

Filter voices by clicking tag chips at the top of the voice grid. Available tags include gender (male, female), style (professional, friendly, warm), and features (multilingual). Click a tag to filter, click again to deselect. Click All to show every voice.

Multi-Language Voice Support

Multilingual voices automatically detect and respond in 20 languages. When a customer speaks in a supported language, the assistant switches to that language — no configuration needed.

Supported Languages

English, Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.

How It Works

  • The default language is English
  • When a customer speaks a different supported language, the assistant detects the switch automatically
  • The voice model and response language adapt in real time
  • No manual language selection is required

Note: English-only voices do not support automatic language switching.

Best Practices

  1. Consider multilingual — If your customers speak multiple languages, choose a multilingual voice for automatic language switching

  2. Match your brand — A playful voice for a law firm may feel off-brand

  3. Test with your audience — What sounds good to you may not resonate with customers

  4. Listen to all options — You might be surprised which voice fits best

  5. Get feedback — Ask colleagues or test users for their opinions
