Setup Billing Plan
Choose a subscription plan and manage your billing. Access it from Admin > Billing in your admin panel.

Premium includes a dedicated database. All paid plans support overage charges.

Choosing a Plan
From the dashboard setup bar or from Admin, click Billing to open the plan selection page.
- Review the plan tiers and their included limits
- Select the plan that fits your expected usage
- Complete payment (paid plans require a payment method)
- Your new plan is active immediately
Upgrading
When you upgrade mid-cycle:
- You're charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing period
- New limits take effect immediately
- Overage charges (if any) stop accruing for resources now within your new limits
Downgrading
When you downgrade:
- The change takes effect at your next billing cycle
- You retain your current plan limits until then
Shopify Billing
If you installed XInfer.AI from the Shopify App Store, billing is handled entirely through Shopify:
- Subscription charges appear on your Shopify invoice
- Payment methods are managed through your Shopify account
- Billing cycles follow Shopify's 30-day period
- Proration for plan changes is handled automatically by Shopify
Monthly Billing Only
Shopify tenants are billed monthly only. Shopify's billing API uses 30-day cycles and usage-based overage requires monthly reconciliation.
Hidden Sections for Shopify
Since Shopify handles billing and payments, certain admin sections are not shown:

Plan Changes via Shopify
- Go to Admin > Advanced > Billing Usage
- Click Upgrade Plan or Change Plan
- You'll be redirected to Shopify to approve the new subscription
- After approval, you're redirected back with the new plan active
To cancel, select the Free plan or uninstall the app from Shopify Admin.
Viewing Billing History
Go to your Shopify Admin > Settings > Billing to view all XInfer.AI charges alongside your other app subscriptions.
Platform Billing (Non-Shopify)
For non-Shopify tenants, billing is managed directly through the platform.
Payment Methods
Add a credit or debit card under Admin > Advanced > Payment Methods. At least one payment method is required for paid plans.
Overage
Enable overage in Admin > Advanced > Billing Usage to allow exceeding plan limits. Overage charges are deducted from your prepaid credit balance. See Billing Usage for details.
